Hello,
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but will go ahead anyway!
Hope you can help with this?
For a while I have been running the Icecast Stream without any problem, using A.I.O. Radio Player on the Website to stream.
However, decided to move the Website to another server, which presumnably runs Linux, mine runs Widows 7, for reasons I shan't bore you with!
Both servers run WordPress to host the Website.
Since this move and changing to a .uk domain, rather than a .co.uk domain, there have been issues with the other server receiving the stream: audio is okay (this is an online radio station), but no artist, title, or artwork showing.
However, the SHOUTcast stream runs without a problem.
For a brief period last year, the site was hosted on the same server, but a different domain, which was .co.uk, and apart from a brief issue, again, this ran satisfactorily.
Aocording to the player log, a connection is established with SHOUTcast, but not Icecast - which runs on Port 8000.
Also, requiire assistance, assuming the above issue can be resolved, on getting Icecast 2.4.4 to stream using S.S.L., have little knowledge of Linux and Certificates, etc.!
Thanks for any help you are able to offer.
Cheers.
