Critical Maintenance: March 2015

We have some important updates that need to be performed across all our servers over the next week. These updates will involve some minor downtime and a reboot of each machine.

The updates will occur within a 2 hour window of the following times :

• 2015-03-02 8:00:00 PM UTC - uk3.internet-radio.com
• 2015-03-07 8:00:00 PM UTC - us1.internet-radio.com
• 2015-03-07 10:00:00 PM UTC - uk4.internet-radio.com
• 2015-03-07 10:00:00 PM UTC - control.internet-radio.com (Radio Control Panel)
  
• 2015-03-08 2:00:00 AM UTC - uk2.internet-radio.com
• 2015-03-08 4:00:00 AM UTC - uk1.internet-radio.com
• 2015-03-08 4:00:00 AM UTC - www.internet-radio.com (Main Website)

We expect each updates to take about 30 minutes and all servers will be brought back online without any need for action on your part. We will be sending out emails to broadcasters nearer the time to remind everyone.

uk3.internet-radio.com update complete. All uk3 radio servers are coming back online now.

We have just sent out emails to everyone affected by any of the above scheduled updates. We would also like to point out that most broadcasters will be affected by 3 separate short outages:

1. The machine which hosts the radio (uk1,2,3,4 or us1). See above for exact date / times.
2. The radio control panel on Saturday 7th March 10:00:00 PM UTC.
3. The main website itself (including your start pages) on Sunday 8th March 4:00:00 AM UTC.

Only the update to the machine which hosts your radio (uk1,2,3,4 or us1) will your radio server be unavailable. During the radio control panel and main website updates your radio servers will be accessible via the hostname / port. i.e. http://us1.internet-radio.com:11094/

us1.internet-radio.com update complete. All us1 radio servers are coming back online now. We have also upgraded us1 at the same time giving it more memory, disk space and extra cpu cores.

The control panel (control.internet-radio.com:2199) has been updated and is now back online.

uk1 and uk2 have been updated and are back online.
