Hi there I'm new to this site and hoping people can help me.
I'm wanting to set up my own or join a Internet radio. I mix live music on a software called traktor 3 from my mixer, but need information on what I need to do to get my self live on the net.
What software do I need

Is it leagel

Is it free

And can I set it up from coming out of my mixer into my laptop?

Hi Darrel

Theres lots of conflicting information out there, I tried all sorts before I settled on something, About.com has some useful information. (How to Create Your Own Internet Radio Station)

I personally would recommend downloading "Peercast", I found it much more stable than the shoutcast plug in.
Next, I would open a pay as you go account with Internet Radio, I'm not just saying that because I'm on their forum, but it really is the best deal about.
The ideal set up would be to have a seconf computer running so that you can have the DJ software and music on one and the other one for the server
If youre totally new, it can be quite confusing but I'd be happy to help with any questions etc.
I dont profess to be an expert but I've had enough experience to pass some on.
