BitRate now displayed in Radio Directory

You will notice that we are now displaying the bitrate of the radio station above the listener count in our radio listings. This should make things easier when choosing to tune in to a radio station.

We will be working on adding the stream format too. For example : wether the station is streaming in MP3 or AAC or OGG etc... We also plan to add the ability to filter the results based on any of these settings.

Good idea but we will keep it in stream as it also shows on other mobile devices and so on..

This is a great idea, saves us having it in our stream title now.

We just tweaked this a little where sometimes IceCast servers were not being showing any bitrate. We have also pulled in some more media types ready for possible display.

Would displaying the stream codec be useful ? i.e. OGG / MP3 / AAC / NSV

Hi,
I don't think displaying stream codec is of much use to be honest.

Listeners mainly go for stream bitrate and player type more than anything else.
